Questions operators ask.

Going live, installing, several dropzones, pricing, payments, data, the jumper app and the marketplace. Anything else, ask us.

Everything, answered.

How long does it take to go live?

Days, not months. You register your dropzone, we set up products, pricing and users alongside you, then import your existing manifest, waivers and price list.

Do we need to install anything?

No. The portal runs in any modern browser and the role apps are web apps that staff and jumpers add to their home screen. No app-store approval and no admin rights needed.

Can we run several dropzones from one account?

Yes. One login covers each location you operate. A location has its own currency, tax, weather, staff, products and prices, while the roster, gear records and jumper identity are shared.

How does the 1% work?

It is a flat 1% of the value transacted through the manifest and public bookings. No monthly fee, no per-seat licences and no module unlocks. Marketplace sales carry a small separate commission.

Does Hailo hold our money?

No. Payments go through your own merchant accounts, so funds settle directly to your bank. Hailo never holds customer money.

Is our data kept apart from other dropzones?

Yes. Each operator’s data is scoped to its dropzone and locations, with no reads across operators. Marketplace listings are the only shared surface, and only when a seller lists publicly.

What do fun jumpers need?

Just the jumper app. They create one account, link the dropzones they jump at, upload their licence and documents, sign the waiver and manifest themselves — with one profile, logbook and wallet everywhere.

Can the manifest stop a jumper who is not current?

Yes. Manifest checks the jumper’s waiver, documents, licence and currency before they can take a slot, and shows a reserve repack that is due.

Does the TV screen update by itself?

Yes. The hangar and lounge screens update the moment manifest changes a load, with a countdown to each departure and the load calls as they go out.

What happens when a jumper lands out?

The jumper taps “I landed out” in the app and says how they are. Manifest gets an alert with their GPS position, a map link and a call button, and closes it when they are picked up.

Can tandem customers book and pay online?

Yes. Each product gets a branded booking page with deposits or full payment, weight and age checks, add-ons such as photos and video, group bookings, automatic waivers and reminders.

Can we use our own website?

Yes. Put the booking widget on your site with the WordPress plugin, or build against the public REST API.
