Ivan Rushmer

Ivan Rushmer is the founder of Hailo, a management platform for skydiving dropzones. Hailo brings the manifest, tandem bookings, digital waivers, the cashier, the skydiving school, rigging and packing into one system, with an app for every role on the dropzone.

A skydiver himself, Rushmer built Hailo around the way a dropzone runs on a busy jump day: loads built and called on time, every jumper’s licence, currency, waiver and gear checked before they board, and tandem customers booked, paid and signed before they arrive.

A full-stack software developer, Rushmer leads the development of Hailo, from the server infrastructure and the live manifest through to the staff portal, the hangar screens and the apps used by fun jumpers, packers, pilots and riggers.

Under Rushmer’s leadership, Hailo is built for operations of every size. A single dropzone or several locations run under one login, jumpers carry one profile, logbook and wallet to every Hailo dropzone they visit, and operators can run the whole platform under their own brand.

Hailo is free for dropzones to register and charges a flat 1% of manifest and bookings, giving smaller operations the same tools as the largest.
